The Auberge du Joli Vent was born of the romantic encounter between Patricia Provencher of Quebec and Swiss-German Hans Christiner. This friendly, devoted couple have forged their love of nature and the art of dining into a true family affair.

Hans is an outstanding chef who has gleaned his secrets from Saudi Arabia to New Zealand. His remarkable culinary skills are rooted in European tradition, from the grand Wilden Mann hotel to the Old Swiss House in Lucerne. The Auberge du Joli Vent boasts a daring cuisine that is also reassuring. Hans creates seasonal menus in the European tradition, occasionally adding a hint of Oriental mystique to his divine dishes.
